Who we are
At Northbridge Homes, our passion for building is matched by a competitive drive to do things better than others. We go beyond conventional “builder-grade” standards, embracing superior construction practices and thoughtful specifications that deliver lasting quality and greater value.
We deliberately limit the number of homes we build, allowing us to remain personally involved and give each project the attention it deserves. Our decades of construction and project management experience bring discipline and predictability to the building process, anticipating challenges, minimizing surprises, and keeping budgets and schedules on track.
And our reputation extends beyond satisfied homeowners to the neighbors and town officials who appreciate our professionalism, attention to detail, and respect for the communities in which we build
We are also industry leaders in navigating the strictest energy regulations in Massachusetts, excelling at building within the frameworks of the 2021 Stretch Code, the 2024 Specialized Stretch Energy Code, and the exclusive 2024 Fossil Fuel Free (FFF) Building Demonstration Program. By seamlessly mastering required all-electric designs for new construction, we ensure a new home is a beautiful, highly advanced investment—completely future-proofed against shifting environmental laws and evolving market demands.
Mike Paratore
The son of a master electrician and grandson of an Italian immigrant cabinetmaker, Mike has homebuilding in his genes.
An electrical engineer by education and a problem-solver by nature, Mike transitioned into new home construction following a successful fifteen-year career in the competitive world of computer networking.
After twenty years as a partner in one of the area's most respected homebuilding firms, Mike wasn't quite ready to hang up his toolbelt. Instead, he embraced a new challenge, founding Northbridge Homes to continue pursuing his passion for building exceptional homes.
From Lincoln Logs to LVLs. From networking protocols to building codes.
With an appreciation for classic New England architecture, timeless design, and fine craftsmanship, Mike brings an engineer's analytical mind and a builder's eye for detail to every project. His passion lies in bridging the gap between vision and execution, bringing together thoughtful design, technical expertise, and skilled craftsmen to create homes of lasting character and quality.
